Universal Pictures has released a brand new trailer for Blumhouse’s highly-anticipated horror-thriller The Black Phone, starring Ethan Hawke as a sadistic killer. The film will be arriving in theaters on June 24, pitting it directly against Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis biopic.The video continues to highlight Hawke’s terrifying character, who kidnaps a kid named Finney and traps him in a soundproof basement with a broken phone. The impossible happens when Finney somehow gets to communicate with the killer’s previous murder victims, who are determined to help him escape.
